Many self storage facilties located througout Broome County are located in the flood plains the people of Binghamton were tired of losing their belongings whenever it rained. So in 2016, we opened our first self storage facility in Conklin, NY, comprising of 12 shipping containers.

Bootstrapping our growth, Laing Self Storage has grown into 4 locations situated throughout Broome County. We are the largest privately owned & locally owned self storage company in Binghamton, consisting of 75,000 sq/ft of temperature and non temperature storage.

The Lainger Group’s strategy is to purchase under-managed, under-enhanced and under-developed self storage assets, new build or conversions in suburban and secondary markets across the United States. We have positioned ourselves as leaders in delivering first class projects through the implementation of our in-house management strategies, construction and marketing platform.
